Frequently Asked Questions

  • It is important you know ahead of booking with me that the wedding ceremony I create and deliver for you is not legally binding. If you want to get legally married AND have a completely personalised wedding ceremony written and delivered by myself, you will need to complete your registration of marriage at a register office with a registrar which most couples do a few days/ a week before their celebrant-led wedding ceremony.

WARNING: Some registry office registrars are now posing as celebrants. This is not the case and they will not deliver the personal wedding ceremony you are after. These ceremonies are very quick and you are provided with a set of words you must say. Readings, songs, rituals and any other quirky elements you want to include in your wedding ceremony can then be saved for your wedding ceremony with me. Yay!

  • For me to create and deliver a totally personal wedding ceremony brewed to perfection and made with love costs £800. This fee includes time for me to get to know you as a couple, travel expenses up to one hour from my home in Sutton, Surrey, liaison with other wedding suppliers, support with vows and readings, a friendly face at the end of the aisle (should you choose to have an aisle) and unlimited contact (within reason) from the moment you book me and beyond – I love to hear how my couples are getting on after the big day.

  • I live in Sutton, Surrey and include travel expenses up to one hour from my home. Weddings beyond one hour travel time will incur additional travel charges.

Couples often like to choose/create their own ritual sets, for example a hand fasting cord, if you would like me to source and purchase these for you, I can and you will be invoiced for the additional expense.

  • First, we have a no-obligation virtual cuppa to discuss all things wedding. I will ask you about your plans for the day so far, your hopes and dreams for the wedding ceremony, about your relationship (how you met, the proposal story – if there is one) and generally just have a chat to see if I’m the wedding celebrant for you. You can also ask me anything more you want to know during this time. If you decide we’re a match, then we get you booked in and you will pay a booking fee of £400 (50% of the total fee).

Next, I will send you a questionnaire which you will complete individually, but you can do it together if you really want. This is where we really get into the details of your relationship. I love the crumbs – the good, the bad and the ugly. I want to know what makes you the couple you are today. The more detail you provide me with the more personal the wedding ceremony I create for you will be.

Once the first draft of your wedding ceremony is ready, I will send it over to you for you to read together and to make any edits you desire. We can go back and fourth until you have a wedding ceremony you are 100% happy with.

  • On the day, I am your wedding ceremony wing woman. When I arrive, I will pop in and see you individually (assuming you are both at the venue already) and hopefully calm some nerves. I will guide you through your wedding ceremony seamlessly and deliver your ceremony with love, warmth and joy.

I can also help out with choosing readings, support for readers, vow guidance, rituals, ceremony choreography. And, of course, you can email/chat with me as much as you would like from the moment you book me to beyond your wedding your wedding day – I love it when couples keep in touch.

  • It all starts with you getting in contact. You can use my contact form on the website, email me directly or reach out on Instagram. Once I have checked your wedding date is free and your venue is an achievable distance for me (if booked already), we arrange a no-obligation virtual cuppa. We chat about your wedding plans so far, your wedding ceremony wishes, what it’s like to work with me and about your relationship (how you met etc.). If you decided I’m your vibe and would like to go ahead we getting your dated officially booked it and you will pay a booking fee of £400 (50% of the total fee).
