A little bit about me…
If it wasn’t obvious already, I bloomin’ love a cuppa! I love everything a mug of tea encompasses; warmth, a good gossip with an old friend, a comfort blanket on rainy days, a member of the 6am club and a sidekick to my laptop.
My love for weddings all started when I was 16, waitressing for Two Many Cooks (if you haven’t booked your caterer already, check them out!). I would spend most weekends holding (very heavy) drink trays and often in awe of a bride gliding across a perfectly kept lawn.
I absolutely adore to dance and once upon a time attended The BRIT School. Nowadays, I mainly dance in the kitchen with my husband anytime Defying Gravity comes on the radio or to entertain my very energetic toddler.
I have an unhealthy addiction to Oliver Bonas and occasionally frequent a yoga studio. I love big frilly collars, independent cafes and cobbled streets – is there anything more quaint?
I am the owner of a small fluffy dog, Freddie the cavapoo and when I’m not celebranting you can find me in the classroom as a part-time primary school teacher.
Some slightly more niche facts: I used to work in Lush (the smelly shop!) and am a sucker for a bath bomb - Snow Fairy anyone? I also used to work as a waitress on a steam train experience…I did tell you it was niche!
My very own wedding ceremony was led by a celebrant and I fell in love with the freedom we had to create a wedding ceremony that was so completely us. I immediately wanted more couples to experience what I had – a wedding ceremony which is absolutely their cup of tea!
